Summary

A glimpse into Lapin family life and how a little girl who could only do arithmetic if there was a dollar $ign in front of the numbers became a successful Israeli entrepreneur. Boys and girls are so different that we need separate sports teams and leagues for male and female players of tennis, soccer, wrestling and pretty much all else. Yet boys and girls are so similar that they can go to war together as comrades in combat units of the United States military. Well, are they the same or not? So why the insanity around gender issues? Why are those who break gender boundaries the heroes? Why must little girls tolerate big boys in their restrooms but so-called transgenders should have to tolerate nothing. 0:57.0

by people being obsessively preoccupied with what other people need and want.

We call this business, and when you perform along these lines, what you receive are what I call certificates of performance.

1:18.2

You receive little strips of colored paper or various movements on the hard drive of your financial institution or maybe a check.

And apart from all the wonderful and exciting things happening in Israel, for me, one of the best parts of Israel, and frankly, primarily what draws me on my fairly regular visits to Israel is really only one thing.

2:08.5

Or I should say by now it's a little more than one thing, but basically it's my daughter, Ruth.

2:16.1

And Ruth is my number five daughter. She wasn't confident. I knew that,

2:26.2

so she sort of subtly held up her hand with all five fingers extended. But no, I knew she's

number five daughter. And while each and every one of

my daughters has amazing and incredible uniquenesses, hers is really quite remarkable.

2:46.2

From when she was a little girl, we discovered something fascinating about her, and that is that she really had trouble doing arithmetic.
