The Russian Grand Prix was set to be a strategic battle between two Mercedes-Drivers

but its nature was changed before the very start when Pulsator Lewis Hamilton was

given a pair of five-second time penalties for a pair of practice start infractions.

Hamilton's penalties gave teammate Valtrey Bottas the chance to take advantage, something he

hasn't always done this season, and after blasting by Verstappen at the start, he went on

to claim his second winner the season, largely unopposed once Hamilton had pitied to serve

his penalty and get rid of the soft tires he had been forced to qualify on.

For Stappen once again got everything from the Red Bull package to secure second

as Hamilton came home a rather dejected third,

furious about the circumstances of his penalty.
