| 0:19.6 | Hello and welcome to Films to Be Buried with. My name is Brett Goldstein. I'm a comedian, an actor, a writer, a director, a seat filler, and I love films. As lawyer Michael Cohen once said, I will not be a punching bag as part of anyone's defense strategy. And it is a goddamn disgrace that if Beale Street could talk was not nominated for Best Picture. Every week, I invite a special guest over. I tell them they've died, then I get them to discuss their life through the films that meant the most to them. Previous guests include Ricky Javase, Catherine Ryan and James Acosta, but this week my special guest is superstar writer and creator, Leslie Headland. Right, we've got a lot to get through, so listen up. I've got lots of exciting live shows coming up, some at the BFI, one at the South Bank Festival, one at Marlow Festival, but the next big live podcast will be taking place on April 7th at the Brighton Podcast Festival. And I suggest you get your tickets, because you want to know who the guest is. All right, I'll tell you, it's only bloody Assim Chowdry. I will also be performing last year's stand-up show, What is Love? Baby Don't Hurt me for one week only at the Soho Theatre from May 6th to May 11th. So do go to the website and get your tickets fast. Follow me on Twitter at Brett Goldstein and on Instagram at Mr Brett Goldstein to keep up to date with all the live shows and my stand-up gigs. Now, here's another thing you need to know, and this is important.
