with a new president imminent, with the war in Ukraine having exhausted Europe, NATO, the European Union, the

Russian Federation, certainly the people in Ukraine in the Black Sea Basin.

What is to be done?

It's been several weeks since we talked, so I wanted to catch up on the most recent information

I have from Ukraine.

too bitter to get outside the foxhole or your trench in. However, there is expectation that Washington will now have a way forward because

Mr. Trump is not involved in the beginning of the war in any fashion whatsoever. And he has a representative,

a counselor who is said to be in negotiations, maybe even underway right now. There's hinting about that.

And Moscow is also concerned about

the negotiation going forward, hence the Kersk salient becomes critical because Moscow doesn't want

to have to trade for Russian territory. Your measure now, your colleagues in Russia, your colleagues

in the United States, is it time to settle?

Do the American people, certainly the leadership of the American people, believe that?
