Anatole, I'm looking ahead somewhere on the other side of resolving in

some fashion the Ukraine conflict. The headline, Putin's economic resilience rests

on war addiction. It goes on to say how much of the budget will be devoted to war in 25, 26, 27, what the

increase will be next year, the mobilization of up to one and a half million combat men or men who can go into

combat. All of this is a bleak future for the young people of Russia and

integrating the young people, the very well educated young people in the institutions of Russia would enhance Europe's future and Eurasia's future.

All of that is at risk here. Is that part of the

conversation in Washington that we need a Russia restored in some fashion with

dignity so that the young people can blossom?
