Moscow in wartime.

Moscow after more than two years of sanctions since the events of 2022 but many more than that ten years of

sanctions if you include the sanctions that were visited upon Russia

following the the events of 2014 and the taking over of Crimea and the

influencing of the eastern part of Ukraine.

Ten years of sanctions, two years of sanctions.

Either way, how's Moscow doing?

I welcome a Katerina Zolotova, a writer, a correspondent for the Geopolitical Futures subscription site.

And I begin with an anecdote that I had from a colleague of mine who's just returned from Moscow.

He hasn't been there for three years. He has family there. He's fluent in Russian.

And I asked him, how does Moscow look? And he said, looks the same except for lots of Chinese cars.
