Background on Rich and Laura before we dive into the interview rich and his wife Laura were born and raised in Chicago's Western suburbs

After two tours of duty in Iraq as a US Marine rich move to Naperville, Illinois

Where he met and married Laura and served as a pastor at the Compass Church for seven years

In 2013 the Sandford's move to Utah where Rich founded the Mission Church

He is working there to this day Laura is the creator of joy food sunshine food blog

You've probably if you search for a recipe on Google you've probably landed on her site

She ranks for many many many foods on Google

She is actually the third result on Google the pops up on the first page when you type in chocolate chip cookies

So she's kind of a big deal in the food blogging world and she's gonna tell us her whole story how she started that

She is also a mother of five kids under eight years old and she homeschools and she's a photographer of food

Just a beautiful family all around
