Some people make holiday shopping lists. We're making a holiday stock list. Today on Motley Fool Money.

0:20.7

Today is Tuesday, December 2nd. Welcome to Motley Fool Money. I'm your host, Emily Flippen,

0:25.4

and today I'm joined by Motley Fool analyst Jason Hall and Oswald Sharma to talk about favorite

0:30.0

rule-breaking stocks for your holiday shopping list. But let's be real. This time of year,

0:35.7

we're all surrounded by sales, shipping deadlines,

0:38.3

holiday ads. But just because companies are spending doesn't necessarily mean consumers are

0:42.8

too. We're going to be discussing some holiday radar stocks here. But first, I want to have to

1:25.9

average selling prices were up 7% year

1:28.7

every year for Black Friday shopping, but order volumes were down 1%. Jason, I want to start with you.

1:34.4

When you hear that and when you look at the Black Friday and holiday data this year,

1:37.5

what stands out to you about the consumer? I think the vibe check and the data line up here for me.

1:43.3

We have a bifurcated economy where the

1:45.8

halves have a lot and are supporting like the big headline numbers, but we also have a large
