And the Lakers are in an evaluation period right now between now and their next trade, which, I believe,

will be at the trade deadline. I think that there's enough to learn over this next

month to where waiting until then would be wise. But as we talked about this evaluation period,

you brought up, hey, it might be better to make a deal earlier. So yeah, today's Ploddie

wanted to talk about this period of time between now and the next trade or the trade deadline,

I should say. And what is it the Lakers are looking for?

Who are they evaluating? What is it that can get them set up to get all the information that they

need for the next move? So I think this is a great topic just because it both involves the trade

stuff, but also like general roster questions and what we still have to learn, what we've been learning, and how projectable some of that stuff is, right?

And so, for example, the other day in the thread, we were talking about potential trade targets and a wing name came up, and I had mentioned

how that might impact Dalton, for example, who is a rotation player right now. And there's this

whole projection about how much we should be relying on Dalton in the big picture this

season. And I think that's an evaluation point within this context of this time period that has
