This is Rudy Giuliani, and I'm here with Rudy's alert.

The alert today is about an inalienable right.

Maybe our most important inalienable right.

It certainly occupies a position of number one in the bill of rights.

And that is freedom of speech.

Many philosophers of government, political scientists have always believed that it's the bedrock of our democracy, our republic, our rights.

Without the right of freedom of speech, the other rights really can't be enforced, can't be protected, can't be exercised.

And of course the quintessential attribute of a of a totalitarian government is denial of the right of free speech.

It's almost universally true. In fact, it is universally true that totalitarian governments fear free speech more than anything else.

So the tremendous intrusions that have been made in our right of free speech, particularly over the last several years, are a great, great danger to the existence of our former government.

It would be very, very hard, except for the most, the most biased and maybe the most brainwashed to deny that over the course of the last several years, certainly starting with the pandemic and going through the election of 2020.

And now that there hasn't been an iron curtain, censorship put up by Biden, the Democrats, mainstream media, big tech, and big government, big corporations.

The reality is that they have joined together often to decide what they consider to be disinformation, dangerous speech, fake news, things that are false narratives or proof to be false narratives.

And those are allowed to be printed and given tremendous amount of attention and things that they deemed to be untrue or dangerous or disinformation are censored, not allowed to be published, not allowed to be discussed, not allowed to enter into the public debate.

Now, right now, the bid that Elon Musk has made for Twitter brings all of these issues to the fore, to the to the front.

And they're all involved in what he is doing because Twitter is probably maybe the worst example, or maybe the best example, depending on how you look at it, of the kind of censorship that we're talking about.

They determine based on their subjective determination of what is true and false, or what is dangerous or not dangerous, or what is offensive or not offensive.

They determine whether you can use their medium to exercise your right of free speech, and they've done it in very important situations and in very dramatic circumstances, whether whether we're talking about the,
