Hello, this is Rudy Giuliani with Rudy's Alert.

Today, our alert is about the dispute that is going on

with regard to sexual education of minors, children in school.

It has become a very, very important national subject.

It has always been an important subject.

Much of what was going on in school over the last 20, 30 years,

I'd say, was hidden in some ways from the parents.

They would get reports on grades and reports on conduct

and reports about how good the school is or how bad the school is

or about the children's behavior at times.

But there really wasn't much consultation with them

with regard to curricula and with regard to sexual education.

Now, I was quite aware of it because this situation dates back

quite some time.

I remember even before I ran for mayor of New York City,

so that would have been in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

There was a major dispute on the New York City Board of Education
