This is Rudy Giuliani with Rudy's weekly alert.

And this weekly alert comes days after the 21st anniversary

of the attack on the United States of Islamic extremist terrorist

on September 11, 2001, and attack that shocked the nation, shocked the world,

changed America, changed the world.

I'm not sure we have yet.

In fact, I'm certain we have not yet absorbed all the changes

that that traumatic, shocking, horrendous barbaric act

brought about for us as a political entity, as a society, or as the world.

But I do know having been in the midst of it, of course, as you probably know,

that it was indeed the most shocking experience of my life in many, many ways,

the one that had profound impact on me as a person.

And I can see in society a lot of the effects of it on America and on the world.

And we've explored some of that on my podcast and on my radio show

and in my book, Leadership, and we'll probably continue to do that as I sort out for myself,

just exactly what it all meant.

But today I want to talk about it, not as if it's a part of history.

You know, it isn't.
