So Sean, I want to talk some recruiting next because I think there's some fair criticisms

to lob at Notre Dame right now. And I think there's a lot of overreacting going on right now

as well. And so we want to kind of speak to the reality of where Notre Dame is, the good

and the bad of where Notre Dame is, the good and the bad of where

Notre Dame is, because as of right now, March 10th, you cannot sit here and argue that

based on the results that Notre Dame has taken advantage of the 14 and 2 season.

Since the season ended, they have not landed, they've landed one commitment,

really since the playoff started, they've landed one commitment, really since the playoff started.

They've landed one commitment.

That was from Tyler Merrill.

It's a big time pickup.

They have not, he was their first commitment since December 1st when they landed

Chaston Smith.

Excuse me, he was the, Chaston Smithith was the last non offensive lineman to commit to

number 1st the last offensive skill player to commit the nerd name so the last non

offensive linemen to commit their name on offense was no grubs on july 1st you can't sit there

and look at the results and say they're taking advantage of the run.

At the same time, I don't think that now is when we were going to see a lot of commitments.

And so I do think there's some areas that are question marks that we need to see if they can take advantage of it.

But I also think there's a lot of hand-wringing that's just unnecessary right now.

So what we want to do is kind of talk about where Notre Dame is right now in recruiting.
