So Sean, I want to get into this next part because this is the fun part.

These questions about the spring.

And so the reason we say it's fun is because we're not looking at this from the standpoint of,

let's think of all the things we can be negative about with this Notre Dame football team

and just focus on how bad this is and how bad that is.

It's more so questions in regard to the unknowns of a team,

unknown circumstances, unproven players that their emergence is what is key to a team. And you look

at the 2014, how would Jeremiah Love and Juddary and Price be able to play through their

potential now that they're the guy stepping up for

Audret.

That was a question mark.

The talent is no question, but would they emerge?

Both of them did.

Jeremiah became a star.

DeDarden was a very important piece of that rotation.

Would Jaden Greathouse be able to kind of take that role?

Took a while.

We saw flashes, but eventually he played a huge role in this team getting to the championship

game.

You know, wood guys like Josh Burnham and Drake Bowen and Jaden Osbury, you know, Christian

Gray, be able to, a Don Schuller, be able to step into roles and really beat impact

players for a team that lost some really good veteran
