So I want to dive into the offense, Sean, because what's interesting is I actually feel like maybe there's even, for me,

the defense as a whole is more of a question mark for me than the offense

because of the fact that there's just this new staff, you know, like in play.

And you say new staff, you're like, but it's one new dude.

I get that.

But that makes it all new

because you don't know how the other assistants will interact with a new coordinator the way they

did with the previous coordinator. Will they interact better? Will they interact worse? Will they

interact the same? Will some coaches be better? Some coaches not be. We don't know. And so that's

where you got to start on defense Sean is right

there the biggest question mark on in the spring is is it's kind of a twofold question around

the hiring of Chris Ash what is his defense going to look like because as we said before he can

say all he wants about this is the Notre Dame defense, and I'm just here to,

that's all fine and dandy, but you got to call the game and design the game

in a way that you're comfortable with.

It's the Notre Dame defense and all this,

but you're not just going to go out there and say,

okay, what did Al Golden like to do on third and four. You're going to call what you're comfortable with on third and four. So there's always going to be some adjustments in learning period for us of what Chris

Ash likes to do.
