This episode is featuring Mark Murphy. He's the president, CEO of the Green Bay Packers,

an organization I know so well for my time up there. A lot of changes in Packerland.

Over the past couple of weeks, if you've been paying attention, Ted Thompson general manager,

into more of a senior advisor role, new general manager, Brian Gutikunskudy, as we called him.

He was a scouting director there for years.

Knew him well.

He cut his teeth on the Southeast region.

Elliot Wolf, an astute evaluator, son of Ron Wolf that I know so well.

He's on to Cleveland.

Rust Ball, the administrator, stays in his spot.

And then you just see things sort of developing

towards Murphy, where he now is going to hire and fire the coach. That's different than the past.

He's going to have Mike McCarthy report to him, as well as the general manager, Brian Guttecunt.

So maybe the most powerful role that a CEO in Green Bay has had.

And we are sort of in a position where Mark Murphy now is closer to being a quote-unquote

owner in the NFL than he ever has been. I sat down with Mark during the season. So I was up in
