Summary

While most people think the Big 12 is in a good position to expand, nobody really knows.  And in ACC country... well... one headline reads "The ACC is Screwed" while another story indicates the ACC and Pac 12 may be working on a total merger.  I like my plan, you like yours.  Who the heck knows?     Another prominent sports journalist in KC has quit media and gone to work for a team they covered.  It's easy to see why this is happening.     A damning voicemail is released that Joe Biden left for his son Hunter regarding their seedy China dealings.  You have to hear this story the White House will NOT comment on.    Kansans are signing up to vote in pretty big numbers since Roe was overturned.  It's thousands and thousands state wide... the question is... which way are they voting?    And Mayor Q comes up with a really good idea that could increase safety in KC and immediately gets blasted by the left.

We had an ever so slight delay in the production of this episode of Kevin Keatsman has issues.

0:19.7

I've got a little issue, well, I've got a lot of issues,

0:22.7

but I got a little issue just outside the window of my home studio, which is a bedroom that we've

0:31.1

converted into the studio. And because it's down with the man cave, we have a reverse one and a

0:36.4

half house that's on a hill that goes down and backs up to the woods and a creek and it's a pretty setting.

0:42.4

I can see out the window, the woods, the trees. Very rarely do I get any sun in as this faces the east.

0:48.7

But they built one of those concrete, what do you call them, easements, window wells, whatever it may be out this window.

0:57.0

So I can see about a foot and a half of concrete at the very bottom of my windows as I'm looking

1:03.4

out. And there's a slight ladder there. This is obviously the escape hatch for a bedroom.

1:06.9

If there's a tornado or something happens, there's a fire and you need to get out.

1:17.7

You could easily get out this window and get out to safety. That's what it's all built for.

1:22.6

I think they're creepy, okay? I know you have to have them, and I think it's by law and everything else, but I think they're creepy. They collect leaves and bugs, and we worry about snakes and

1:27.1

things like that.

1:28.9

Jessica, I hate snakes. So over the weekend, as I was down here doing some emails one day,

1:34.3

I had the, I actually had the window down there. There's a time if it's really sunny for about

1:38.6

30 minutes, the sun comes in and can hit me in the eyes, but it's coming through the trees,

1:43.9

where the trees are just a little bit thinner.

1:45.4

So it's not very long. It's the morning sun coming up in the east. And so I'd had the shade down. And I heard this thump against the glass. And I know what it was. So I go put the shade up and I look out there. And this big frog is just jumping up and down and he's pounding against my window. And he stops. And I'm like, okay, I called the friend that you can't mention on the podcast. I say, do you have a fishing net? I need to get a net and get this frog out of this deal. He goes, yep, I'll leave it on my front porch, come by and get it. An hour goes by or something. I go to run errands. I actually kind of forgot. And then I remember,

2:21.4

oh,

2:21.5

and I came back, I'm like, darn, I remember I came back and I looked and I couldn't find the frog. And he wasn't there. I've told Jessica the last three days the frog is gone. This morning, getting ready for the podcast, I hear the thump again. And I look out and I go, yeah, that's not the same frog. That's a smaller frog. And she says, I don't think that's a smaller frog. I said, it's definitely a smaller frog. So this morning, I went and I got my snow shovel and I get over there. I walk around the house and I get to the side of this thing. And now I see two frogs.

2:51.0

I see the big frog that I'd seen over the weekend and a little frog. Big frog's up against the house and I get him on the corner of the snow shovel and I kind of flip him. He's not very aggressive. And I lift him out and set him in the grass. And I think, well, I've done a really nice thing. as I'm doing this, the smaller frog goes into the corner of this well and goes under all the leaves.
