How about those royals?

The magic number is down to one on this Friday as we hit in the final weekend of the regular season.

And when I challenged this team on the off day on Monday and said, they stink,

they can't make it, they're done, they're cooked, they're fried, it's over, prove me wrong.

I never thought the next three games would go the way they did. The Royals sweep the Washington

Nationals. The twins lose two out of three at home to the Marlins and an unlikely name from the past

resurfaces late into the night on Thursday night in the 13th inning as the Marlins

beat the twins to lower the Royals magic number to one.

That means simply there are six games this weekend.

The Royals and twins each play three.

And one of those, one of those six games needs to either be a Royals win or a Twins loss and the Royals are in. All six

outcomes must now go exactly the Minnesota Twins way. They'd have to win three and the

Royals would have to lose three for the Royals to miss the playoffs. So it is on. And we are so excited about this. I got so much more for you coming up

because the Royals are going to the postseason next week. It's going to be a blast.
