Ross Perot, 89 years old, died at the age of 89 from leukemia

that he's suffered apparently for five or six months.

Although at the age of 89, pretty much whatever you die of

is probably something related to being that old.

But I know a pretty sprightly 89 year old actually right now. But in any case, my mother-in-law

who is just amazing, she's like the Energizer Bunny. So I shouldn't sound ageless here,

but in any case, I was watching MS NBC this morning. Breaking news, Ross Perraj just

died and the person doing the news, as far as I recall, and maybe you recall this differently if so let me know but

rewrote history I know Ross Perot had a whole bunch of different campaign issues that

he was concerned about and one of them

was the national debt. But the thing that he really was pumping, the thing that he was really

outraged about, the thing that animated his candidacy, the thing that separated him from George Herbert

Walker Bush and Bill Clinton in the 1992 election was that both Bush and

Clinton supported NAFTA, the NAFTA agreement that Ronald Reagan had initiated

and that had the final negotiation of it had

happened during the George Herbert Walker Bush administration between

1988 and 1992. And so in, when both Bush and Clinton were saying we need NAFTA and we need more of these

so-called free trade agreements around the world, Ross Perot came out and said no. That's my recollection. But this morning on the news all they

said was he campaigned against the federal budget deficit and won 19% of the vote, 18.9% of the vote. And then they played a clip of him and they
