Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

I have taken our meditation for today from a wonderful book by Jason Everett called

John Paul the Great, His Five Loves. The chapter on the cross is excellent. He writes, after consolidating

had a brief opportunity to meet the Pope.

The priest had a broken leg and stood on crutches as John Paul approached him in the receiving line of guests.
