To recap a little bit from last week, we talked about the mysteries.

And I want to repeat just a little bit to make this very, very clear.

Paul was a Jew.

He was the Jews Jew.

He was the Hebrews, Hebrew, of the tribe of Benjamin.

By the way, do you know that there is an Old Testament prophecy concerning the tribe of Benjamin. By the way, do you know that there is an Old Testament prophecy

concerning the tribe of Benjamin?

Tribe of Benjamin has a prophecy, and it's a very negative prophecy.

The Lord prophesied that Benjamin would become a ravening wolf,

going into houses and looting the houses and ravening in the way a wolf

does as part of a pack of wolves. That's the tribe of Benjamin. Did you know that Paul was a ravening wolf?

He fulfilled the prophecy given by Jacob to his sons.

He became a ravening wolf who went into homes of new Christians and broke them up, tore them up, ripped them up, had the power of life and death.

He was the Jews Jew. He was not about to see these Christian upstarts do anything.

So the Lord changed his mind, and after 17 years of changing, Paul went out and began to preach, and he preached in the Gentile lands. I'm convinced that he went all the way up into

today's Yugoslavia. He went across to Spain. He went to England. I'm convinced that he covered virtually everything from

what we today call Syria west to England. And he went out and preached among pagan Gentiles

who believed in the mysteries. Those pagan Gentiles believed in the mystery religions, which we talked about last week.
