All right, it's time for the latest episode of rookie watch here on the PHLY Sixers podcast on the

And man, who would have thought that this late in the season, con can'tiple when you

look at the rookie ladder as of right now, standing firm at number one as we look at him with 19 points per game, 5.3 rebounds, 3.4

assists and he has been fantastic from behind the three point line. Just a tremendous, tremendous

rookie year, Derek, when you look at Cooper Flag, Concanipal, of course, VGA Edgecombe, down the line where so many

rookies have had a fantastic campaign to start their careers.

But who stepped out and stuck their neck out and said, yeah, that guy, Connopple, that Duke

player is going to be rookie of the year.

Yeah. Well, I don't think any of is going to be rookie of the year. Yeah.

Well, I don't think any of us predicted him as rookie of the year, but we're all pretty

big supporters of Khan as a legitimate top three, top four prospect in last year's draft.

You mentioned the shooting, and he is currently leading the league in three point makes by a pretty healthy

margin he's got 238 Luca is second at 216 and he's doing it while shooting 44% from three

point range pretty much a historic three point shooting season as a rookie as you will see and on

top of that they're winning a lot of basketball games.

He's sitting there producing every night,

upwards of 20 points per game,

65% true shooting,

and help turn around Charlotte both on and off the court.

You know, that was a team who desperately needed,

you know, that kind of steadying hand and leadership playing great basketball.
