Who've made some impact this year.

So Nicole Yolkich completely changed the way that we look at second rounders, right?

The best player in the NBA in the world.

Maybe also like top three, top five of all time is the 41st pick in the draft. The bar at that point gets very, very high for NBA GMs.

Loving Tim Connolly, who has made every executive in the air realize that those second rounders have value.

So this season, the second rounders, have, let's just say they haven't covered themselves in glory yet, pause, like they have in past years.

But there are some really good prospects who have started to make names for themselves.

We start with the Trailblazers and their 43rd pick in the draft out of

oh, bonjour, by way of the breakers in New Zealand. I'm talking Ryan Arupé. It is taken. The 6-6 shooting guard.

A little time to acclimate. I mean, he is used to eating quesans. But he is starting to get a little

run in Portland, who also Portland has awesome French food. And damn, he is showing flashes.

Over his last four games, Ryan Rupera is averaging nearly 20 minutes a game and has put up

not crazy numbers, 5, 3, and 2, but he's playing solid defense and people
