Ronnie Maricio playing fall ball. He tears his ACL. He had been hitting in the fall league.

He had obviously finished very strongly with the Mets when he got called up last year. It's

trying to gather quite a few hitting streaks. We saw some power. We saw some speed.

We saw the energy. And this was a player that going into spring training, it appears the door was

wide open for him to go out there and earn an everyday playing job. And with the torn ACL,

the picture of the Mets competition on the diamond and throughout a lot of
