Welcome to the Athletic Football Show. Today is Thursday, November 18th. I'm Robert Mays. Great show for you guys today. Our Bucks writer at the Athletic, Greg Alman, is going to be joining us a little bit later to talk about a rare two-game skid from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. What it means moving forward, should we be worried. Really enjoyed our conversation with Greg before. We do that, though. I'm pleased to welcome

my good friend, Lindsay Jones. Lindsay, how you doing? I am great, Robert. I'm excited for kind of a

normal week in the NFL. The last couple weeks have been insane with news. So I'm really excited

for this week where it is just an awesome slate of games

and we can really just get into a lot of stuff that we're excited about because there's a lot of

really fun stuff coming up this weekend. So we usually talk about a news item or what the

discussion that's happening in the league is kind of taking the temperature of the biggest news.

And there is none this week.

There's really nothing that's happened.

There's a couple scattered injuries here or there that we're going to get into whether

guys are going to play, guys that aren't.

But for the most part, unless we wanted to spend 15 minutes talking about Joe Flacco

starting for the Jets, there has not been a lot of stuff that's come out in the last few hours

that we felt like was worth really digging into. We'd like to direct you over to the Can't Wait podcast or Connor Hughes. We'll be getting into all of the Joe Flacco news of it all. So we don't have to. We're just going to dig into the categories that we hit every single Thursday. And we're going to start with who has the most at stake in week 11. Lindsay, why don't you kick us off here? All right. Well, so like I said, this is a really exciting week of games. I mean, I was looking through this late and there's six or seven games that I'm really jacked up about. But one that I was not excited or I was not expecting to be excited about, but all of a sudden I am right now is the Washington

football team against the Carolina Panthers. And it's not so much because of, you know,

the X's and O's and all the schematics of it. It's because I think both Ron Rivera and Cam Newton

have a ton at stake this week as they're facing off against each other in Carolina. This is

expected to be Cam Newton's first start.

They're kind of couching it in Carolina, but all signs are that they are preparing Cam
