The Bible is more than history. It you for having me. Now, welcome to Prophecy Watcher. Well, it's good to be with you today.

Thank you for having me. Now, I love your books. Right in front of me, I have one here entitled

40 Days Through Daniel, and we'll be talking about that one in a moment. But first, let's talk

about you, your work. How did you get involved in writing books about Bible study?

Well, that's a great question. You know, one of the things that motivates me to write books

is simply asking the question, what need exists in the body of Christ where I might be able to help a little bit?

So for me, it's all about ministry. I write books not only to help people

to understand the Word of God intellectually, but to bring about a change in their life, because

the Word of God is supernatural. It's life-changing. It's transformational. And if the Word of God

is not changing your life, then I don't think you've understood the Word of God rightly. And so I have that two-fold goal. I want people to understand the Word of God is not changing your life, then I don't think you've understood the word of God rightly. And so I have that twofold goal. I want people to understand the word of God, but at the same

time, I want to see life change. And through the years, that's been my guiding principle, God has

opened up wonderful doors in this area for my life. There's nothing that I would rather be doing.

And so I'm just as pleased as I can be to be involved in this type of ministry.

And you've written 70 books? Over 70 books now. Over 70 books, still writing.

One of my friends told me that people are going to think that somebody locked Ron Rhodes

in a closet somewhere with a typewriter. But actually I use a computer and I write every

morning and that's it.

And then in the afternoons I take care of other ministry business.

40 days through Daniel. Now you've written a number of 40 days books, 40 days through

Revelation. Yes. Why did you pick 40 days to go through a particular book of the Bible?

Well, 30 days wasn't quite enough time and 60 days was too much time. 40 days to go through a particular book of a Bible? Well, 30 days wasn't quite enough time

and 60 days was too much time. 40 days seemed to be about the right amount of time to do it.
