for the first time in how long? Seven months? Is it really? Since that very weird Indian

Wells in October last year. Which feels like a lifetime ago? Yes and yet I sort of associate us

doing this more pre-pandemic. It feels like real old times, doesn't it? Except Billie Jean's here.

Billie Jean is here emphasising that it is post-pandemic because of course she was a cliche look down

puppy purchase. Yes, Google photos reminded me that a year ago today, Matt, we were meeting up at a

cottage on the south coast and you were meeting Billie Jean for the very first time. That's right.

And we were seeing one another for the first time in a year. And I lost to your dad and your brother

at tennis? You did. You did. I met you now. Matt had a sort of existential tennis crisis that day

and we watched Roger Federer lose to Pablo Andoja. Yes, that's right. This feels like another

lot. Yes, actually. Does it? Federer was playing but was also losing to Pablo Andoja.

We come to you after three and a half days of play. Well, actually, no, it started on Sunday,

didn't it? So maybe four and a half days of play from Rome as we speak now. Maria Sakary and Coco Gough

are doing battle. Most of the quarterfinals have been set, I think, in the women's draw,

as it stands at the moment, in out of date tennis news or soon to be able to date tennis news.
