Hello everyone, welcome to the LFC news update. That is Dan Club. This is Chris Pageck and we're here to talk through all of the news and the rumors around Liverpool Football Club today, Thursday the 11th of July 2024.

Dan, there is absolutely tons for us to talk about. But the thing that's just broken on Twitter,

not 16 minutes ago, is the Februaryia Romanoano as said Van Dyke said I think I will think

carefully this summer about what I want at club level and as an international

player then we'll go for it again but first I want to recover after this difficult season.

Is there anything in there or is that just the player talking honestly about how I was feeling?

Yeah, ultimately I guess it is the latter I think it's a little bit more cryptic than what I'd like, if truth be told,

I'd like him just to come out and say, my future is at Liverpool and Liverpool captain,

absolutely nothing's going to change that over the course of this summer and like sort of nail his colours to the master if you like and sort of put us all all

our minds at ease because ultimately you know the unrest or the uncertainty around Van Dyke is

born out of the fact that he's into the

final 12 months of his contract and we know that's a big thing that we need to

get sorted obviously Mrs. Hughes's to do list you would imagine. But in terms of

doubts over his future I don't have many.

This is sort of the second time.

This has come around.

After the first time, he quickly came out

and addressed it once again.

I'd like to think he'd do similar in this instance.

And really, I'm taking it with one giant pinch assault purely on

based on the fact that we're not even 12 hours a move from his nation being

eliminated from the European Championships he was obviously the captain of that side
