Following the heart wrenching ending to the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns is seeking revenge on Sami Zayn for "breaking up" his family. With Jey Uso missing following the Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns is blaming Sami Zayn for tearing apart the Bloodline. Sami Zayn got the first strike on Roman Reigns, and challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Championship at the WWE Elimination Chamber in Montreal but the numbers game was too much for Sami. Roman agreed to the match and vowed to end Sami Zayn in front of his wife, his kids, and his family for what Sami Zayn did to Roman's family. Also, Braun Strowman, and Ricochet battle Imperium in the finals of the SmackDown Tag Team Title Tournament. Charlotte Flair defends the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Sonya Deville.
