Welcome to another dual review on a Friday night for WWE SmackDown, AW Rampage.

I hope everybody is having a good Friday night on this the three year anniversary.

As you saw there, of the night that the McMahon's took back control of Monday Night Raw and they told us all they promised us

that they were going to give us what we wanted. They were going to put the power back in our hands. We are the authority. You are the authority. I am the authority.

As I look back now on the last three years, all I can say is, I'm sorry. I apologize. I did not use my power to its full ability. I feel like I have failed you over these last three years.

If I am a little too loud, let me lower this here. It might be a little too loud. There we go. That's a little bit better.

But anyway, it is a three year anniversary of that. Tonight though on SmackDown, WWE taped not only one SmackDown but two because they are not doing a live show next week on Christmas Eve.

So next week's SmackDown just be aware, especially those of you who like to avoid spoilers. They were taping two shows tonight. That second show will air next Friday night.

I don't remember offhand. I believe it will be on Fox. I want to say that the following week, which I think is New Year's Eve, that might be an FS1 clip show. I think they are doing a highlight show.

But I got to say, I put that picture that you saw there at the beginning. I put that on Twitter earlier today or a similar photo.

Those of you who are listening to this on the download and have no idea what I'm talking about. It's that photo, that screenshot from Roth three years ago, Vince, Stephanie, Shane, Paul, McMahon, Triple H, all standing in the ring together.

And I reminded people of this being the anniversary. And I got a lot of feedback to that tweet. And I got a lot of people who defended WWE and blamed the fans and say,

WWE gave the fans exactly what they wanted and they didn't know what they wanted. And it's all the fans fault and WWE has given us a lot of great stuff and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

And it's not as if it's been three years of all bad stuff. I'm not saying there hasn't been any good stuff, but you get your usual WWE defenders. And there was one person who used the words must see when it came to SmackDown.

And there was a period of time where I would have said that SmackDown was, you know, easily the best of all the WWE shows and it was the show to watch.

If you were going to pick a WWE show, just one to watch each week, it should be SmackDown. And some people might still think of all the choices you have. SmackDown would be the choice to go with.

But I use those words must see. And as I watch SmackDown tonight, I was trying to pay attention for what exactly makes SmackDown must see.

We know that SmackDown has the biggest star in the entire company. We know SmackDown is the Roman Reigns show, right? We know that.

And without Roman Reigns, this company would be in a real bad spot. I mean, they would be in a real pickle.

If Roman Reigns suddenly went down to injury, if Roman Reigns took himself out of the game, Roman Reigns missed one week of television.

Now imagine if he had to miss a month. Or if he had to miss six months of TV, how fucked these people would be.
