Random question. How important do you think it is to have a friendship with your child?

Versus just said drawn a line and saying, I'm your fucking mom or daddy, and that is what my job is

To make sure that you survive and have the best things and still

I think it's half and half and a way, not half more more parental figure

But I don't think the person who's like, I'm not here to be your friend. I'm here to be your authority figure

I think that person's a little off as well

To learn how to slowly become friends with your kid

But that's easier said than done

Yeah, I had two parents who tried kind of different routes

I felt like my dad tried to be friends a little like too much too early in one way

My mom ate yeah

And my mom didn't go like like my mom didn't acknowledge that I wasn't a kid anymore

When I was 17 and that bothered me so much, you know, so I think I think there's a happy medium. I think it's an age cut off from me

It's like I don't need to be your friend in those first years. I need to be here. I can make you laugh and stuff

And that's let me call you a friend. I'm streets. I hang out with my friends and shit. I don't hang out because of the negative but

But I do need to make sure that you are the best person that you can be

so I feel like it's almost

More fun healthier and like really developing a friendship with your parents once you get a little older

You're like oh shit. I get to really enjoy who you are as a person versus me

It's kind of a parents job also to send you to fuck off and to kind of lie to you and shield you from who they really are too
