We go to Greg Scarletto to help us understand a confusing picture politically in South Korea.

North Korea is the threat, the threat to Ukraine, the threat to the United States, the threat to

everybody who is allied with the United States. At the same time, South Korea is the best

counter except, Greg, a very good evening to you. Thank you. Trump's best bet to counter China

is backing South Korea's Yun. This is an op-head piece in Asia Times. The subhead is more interesting.

Eun was impeached by a legislature in the grips of anti-America, pro-China, pro-North Korea,

ideological furor. If that is accurate, what's driving it? What is the present culture saying

that you want to team up with North Korea and China?

We are dealing with a very serious situation here.

Many of South Korea's leading political figures appear to be under the influence of Chinese authority.

Among them included are I Jem Yong, the incumbent chairman of the opposition party, Han Dong Hun,

and I Jun Sok, former chairperson of the ruling party, the PPP.

You know, this conversation can go on and on.

It's a competition between us representing democracy, human rights, and in a market economy and China, quite frankly, that's how it is.

So all you have to do is look at E.J. Myeong's pro-China and anti-USA sentiments

as exposed by his own comments in his remarks,

Yes, to China in March of 2024, referring to us to the USA as an American occupying

army in July 2021.

You know, Han Dong Hun's father-in-law is the publisher of a magazine introducing China
