Tonight I'm going to represent a story that I first covered on this

show several years ago. If you're listening to this episode now upon its release,

this is the eighth anniversary of this senseless tragedy.

The story of Rohini Bississar is a case I followed closely since the news broke of a manhunt

taking place across Toronto.

Initial reports told of a seemingly random stabbing taking place in Toronto's financial district,

in the middle of the day, and within the aisles of a shoppers drug market. In the days after the attack,

while the young victim barely clung to life, the city was captivated for the manhunt

for the well-dressed woman's security cameras captured fleeing the store.

At around three Friday afternoon a woman in her late 20s is shopping inside this

drugstore in Toronto's underground concourse when according to police a
