and Mule Deer Slayer, Robbie Denning on the other end of the mic. What's going on? Monday

morning, hold over in a field because Aaron called and said it's time for a podcast. I've

been talking to him in six months, but when Aaron calls, you just pull over.

Yeah, I'm not very good about us. I'm never good at adult things as far as setting up any

type of consistent. See, if I set up like in a point, mid or a schedule, then I have a

high probability of screwing that up and missing it. But if I just call and say, let's do

it, then I can't miss it. At least that's how it works out in my brain.

Well, it worked. Yeah, yeah. So how's the season going?

Oh, let's see. I had an early season muzzle loader tag started back in July, scouting

for it and found one good buck in the whole unit, all the parts I know anyways. I was

there about five days and a good buck. Very, I mean, high 20s, maybe even 30. And he was

in an area that I know really well. I was really happy to see him there. So let's see,

that was mid July and on open, oh, what first part of September. And so I was there. And

I can't do too much of a spoiler alert because we filmed it and that'll be out in about a

week. But the trailer's out there right now. People want to see it. But it was a good

hunt. You know, muzzle loader's always a challenge. But I love that. You know, being out there

with something that shoots further than a bow and the season when you at least have a

chance of bedding them up. And so overall, it was a pretty good hunt, not as good as yours.

I saw this weekend. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I was just a, I was on cool, cool buck, but

I was just a little bit more neutral. He asked if I wanted to come out and shoot a, a

cool buck. And I was like, yeah, man, I, and you know, some of his cold bucks are not,
