Keeping it a little bit more light than the typical Media Roots radio episode.

So what I wanted to do on today's episode is basically give you guys a list of films, mostly American films, that I feel have really strong and good politics in them, or have a particularly negative view of U.S. government or corporations

or oligarchs. Instead of just giving you guys a giant ranked list of like my favorite political

films ranking down from like number 40 to number one, I'm going to divide them into separate

categories. Because I think while there are a lot of great films that have politics,

you know, great politics in them and have really strong anti-government or anti-corporate messages,

a lot of them fall into different genres or different categories of movies.

Some of them are comedies.

Some of them are horror movies.

Some of them are straight up, just political thrillers or sort of autobiographical films about

real people or real events.
