Uh, we are actually going to start with a different game this week. I need to get your opinion on the Phillip Rivers Bowl in Seattle. And I asked Jay Crouch for the same question, and I like talking to people I really respect who have the great betting actor that you do, right? How the hell do you even try and price a game like this? If indeed it looks like Philip Rivers is going to start, isn't played since January 2021. Currently, the Colts are 13 and a half point dogs look like this is going to 14 on the road in Seattle.

How do you try and price this game?

1:15.1

Do you want to try and bet it?

1:17.0

So it's actually very challenging.

1:19.0

And the real answer is that it's like a series of educated guesses, right?

1:23.5

Because when you're pricing players, you typically have like some sort of age regression curve,

1:43.4

on what they think Rivers is.

1:45.3

For me, it's not just what Rivers is, but it's also the defense that he's going up against in the Seattle Seahawks, which is like, you know, choose your poison 1A, 1B, but it's Texan Seahawks in the league right now. there's no real significant weakness here.

1:58.7

And on top of that, the Colts have other injuries that people aren't talking about,

2:01.9

especially in their secondary, which are various ward being out. real significant weakness here. And on top of that, the Colts have other injuries that people

2:01.1

aren't talking about, especially in their secondary, which are various ward being out,

2:05.1

Soss Gardner being out. So there's a very exploitable matchup that Seattle has on offense.

2:11.1

For me, Nick, honestly, I'm just applying what I think is common sense here, where you have a quarterback rolling in off this, quote unquote, the street.

2:21.7

It's 246 pounds.

2:23.8

You know, I remember Rivers at the end of his career.

2:28.1

And I was like, you know, it's time.
