Hi, it's Rob Moore here and welcome to another episode of the Disruptive

entrepreneur. Now, very excited to have a special guest with us for this episode and

I the deal I did recently to publish life leverage ironically and interestingly

our guest also published by the same author sent me down a road

because my publishers want me to write a book on wealth and money and it's been a

subject I've been interested in for 15 years the first five years I made none and I was in a lot of debt.

Then I managed to turn it round and you know you probably know the story so that's not about me for this interview.

But weirdly when I was at school and all the things you could learn about money economics etc I wasn't

interested in I was the kind of slightly socialist anti-capitalist I was more interested

in art and creative stuff and I kind of ignored the ability to learn about money and the history of money and finance really and

just about four years ago I started getting deep into researching and studying the history of money and how money started and what we can learn from it today to create more to build enterprises that make a difference and increase GDP for yourself, for your enterprise, for your town or city

or country, and to do good things with it and to understand how it operates, you know, from a historical,

psychological, biological even point of view.

And in my deep-rooted research, I stumbled across an amazing book called Coined, which probably is the book that shifted my mind the most on the history of money and what it really was.

For example, I always felt that money was replaced a barter system, made a faster more efficient system of circulating money, which I believe is true to a degree.

Though I think our guess is going to tell us it's a lot deeper than that.
