Summary

Having beaten Juventus 2-1 at Anfield in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie, next up for Liverpool in their 2005 Champions League campaign was a trip to the Stade Delle Alpi. With no Steven Gerrard for the game, Rafa Benitez was able to welcome back Xabi Alonso, while Djibril Cisse was also on the bench in Turin too. Join Guy Clarke and Ian Doyle as they look back on the goalless draw as the Reds booked their place in the last four, where they'd come up against Jose Mourinho's Chelsea. With Sami Hyypia and Jamie Carragher leading the charge it was a night in which the Reds would show all the hallmarks of the spirit, grit and determination which would help them all the way to the final in Istanbul.
