And let's begin today with a needless crime out of Virginia involving the mother of an up

His name is Spencer Hatcher.

The 27-year-old rising star was raised on a farm in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Along with his, you know, required farm chores, Spencer was also raised on bluegrass music.

He started playing the mandolin at age eight and was picking the banjo by age 12.

Spencer's mother, Holly, played organ and piano at

the family's church, and Spencer's father, Michael, well, he played the guitar and banjo and sang

In 2020, amidst COVID, Spencer took the plunge and started his own country band with Connor backing him on the upright bass and singing harmonies that have been likened to the Everly Brothers.
