What is up on a Friday? I'm Brian Scott Rippey. Thanks for tuning into another edition of the Rippey Rights podcast.

Got a loaded Friday show for you a little bit different. We are not doing mailback Friday. I think we're going to switch it around for this week based on how the schedule worked out. We will get to the people's holiday, though. I think what I'm going to do is take a mailback Sunday type of thing with Colin after Ole Miss is oral Robert series. Nice little checkpoint as Ole Miss gets into conference place. I think what I'm going to do it. I think I'm going to do it that way. I should say, today we have former Andy Kennedy staffer Bracken Ray hadn't talked to him in a couple weeks. He will talk to a lot about the future of the Ole Miss basketball program, what Kermit Davis needs to do to fix it. assuming he gets another year. Again, we're all kind of

operating under that assumption. And Bracken had some really interesting stuff about the way

Kermit's recruited and how that maybe mirrors what his assistant staff looks like. And I found

some of that fascinating. So really good stuff there. And then I had Michael Borky on on the back end to talk a variety of different topics. We ended up getting on basketball for probably 30 minutes or so. I don't think it's overly repetitive from what Brackett and I had, but it wasn't the original plan to put these two in the same podcast. It's just kind of the way the two interviews worked out and the schedule. Colin, Colin had some baseball to attend to. The baseball

he actually coaches, not the millions of dollars I pay him to be on this podcast. So,

dealt with a couple of high school baseball rainouts, which kind of threw off the podcast schedule.

So never thought I'd say that sentence out loud. But anyway, I don't think the conversation

too repetitive, and then Borky and I dove into some baseball and even some NBA and NFL stuff towards the end. So I think you'll enjoy the conversation. Hopefully, like I said, the two basketball conversations aren't overly repetitive, but I don't think they are. So buckle up.
