What is up on a Friday? I'm Brian Scott Rippey. Thanks for tuning into another edition of the Rippey Rights podcast.

0:18.0

Got a loaded Friday show for you a little bit different. We are not doing mailback Friday. I think we're going to switch it around for this week based on how the schedule worked out. We will get to the people's holiday, though. I think what I'm going to do is take a mailback Sunday type of thing with Colin after Ole Miss is oral Robert series. Nice little checkpoint as Ole Miss gets into conference place. I think what I'm going to do it. I think I'm going to do it that way. I should say, today we have former Andy Kennedy staffer Bracken Ray hadn't talked to him in a couple weeks. He will talk to a lot about the future of the Ole Miss basketball program, what Kermit Davis needs to do to fix it. assuming he gets another year. Again, we're all kind of

0:55.4

operating under that assumption. And Bracken had some really interesting stuff about the way

1:00.0

Kermit's recruited and how that maybe mirrors what his assistant staff looks like. And I found

1:06.3

some of that fascinating. So really good stuff there. And then I had Michael Borky on on the back end to talk a variety of different topics. We ended up getting on basketball for probably 30 minutes or so. I don't think it's overly repetitive from what Brackett and I had, but it wasn't the original plan to put these two in the same podcast. It's just kind of the way the two interviews worked out and the schedule. Colin, Colin had some baseball to attend to. The baseball

1:28.9

he actually coaches, not the millions of dollars I pay him to be on this podcast. So,

1:33.4

dealt with a couple of high school baseball rainouts, which kind of threw off the podcast schedule.

1:38.4

So never thought I'd say that sentence out loud. But anyway, I don't think the conversation

1:42.4

too repetitive, and then Borky and I dove into some baseball and even some NBA and NFL stuff towards the end. So I think you'll enjoy the conversation. Hopefully, like I said, the two basketball conversations aren't overly repetitive, but I don't think they are. So buckle up. But before we get to that, I wanted to remind you, the podcast is brought to you by Skybox Sportspix. Who is Skybox

crushing it i saw they went five and oh on a couple over unders that they put out yesterday or five

2:27.6

thursday how about that and i still start to your march? That's always a nice plus. You need to check them out. So go find the March Madness package. You use the promo code Madness and you get 25% off. For all other picks packages, if you just want to use it like a day or get their week pass, use that promo code RIPP-E, and it'll give you 20% off. Skybox owns March Madness, and they're going to profit, and you need to follow the Skybox to profit, because I promise you when you sit down next week for the marathon that is 32 basketball games of the first two days and then 16 over the next two, you're not going to profit going off your own knowledge in your own brain. Just not going to happen in the long run. Skybox will consistently lead you to profit. And that way you're texting the man asking where your supplementary income is versus him texting you on a Monday morning when you already got the scaries, where you can square up. So check them out, skybox sports picks.com. The absolute best in the industry. had a suggestion the other day from a guy wanting to have Skybox on to talk about bankrolling and how to responsibly wager. I think that's a good idea. We'll have that in the worst. So check them out, skybox, sports picks.com. Still got NASCAR rolling and some other stuff, some NBA as well as the playoffs getting there. So check them out. They're going to have a picks package to fit your price range.
