Yeah, this is not like the usual episodes. I fucking hate doing these episodes.

This is... goes out to my friend Riley Gail.

For those of you who were fortunate enough to get a chance to meet him

You know that he wasn't just an unbelievable front person in Power Trip and all the other guest vocal spots that he's done and all the other projects he's done.

He was also an unbelievably amazing person.

I first met Riley, God I first met Riley years ago when fucked up went to Texas and played some

shows he was just a kid of the shows you know he was like a friend of a bunch of people that I was

friends with and I hung around Iron Age and you know we just became friends off of

that you know I'm trying to even remember the exact moment. I remember meeting him properly, but it's almost just like I knew him. You know, I knew him when Power Trip started. It was this band started by a friend.

And of course that band would go on to become a legendary. They're a band that will be remembered forever, but this isn't about Power Trip.

We all know how great Power Trip were. This is about Riley, and Riley is a person.

He truly loved and supported his friends. He believed in the power of this music to affect change and he was funny. He was so funny. Hanging out with him was always just such a joy.

fast Ronald R.J. put up the other day where he was like

Riley was going to be the first guest of my podcast but we end up hanging out

and just blazing instead and never recorded it because going back and

listen to these podcasts that I did with them. There were so many more that we

had planned to do and every time we'd sit down and do them, we'd end up just hanging out and not

recording a podcast.

And I regret you not being able to hear that now, the conversations that we would have had, but at the same
