All right, what are we talking about today?

And why am I doing this when in just a few days or by the time this airs, the stay on the

Janelle Grant case probably will have expired?

One, because I'm late.

There's a few things I meant to talk about and record, and just didn't.

Anyone who follows me on any of the other shows I do, the Guard of the Doom shows,

or even if you've caught me on Humming Media Group or smack attack, etc., I've mentioned it.

We've had some issues here with Lasakaria getting a leg clipped in a botched XVAC during one of her missions.

She's fine. Well, it's just hindered the progress here.

Anyway, one of the things about the Janelle Grant stay, as you will recall, it was

requested by the Southern District of New York, U.S. attorney's office.

That U.S. attorney, assistant U.S. attorney, the U.S. attorney that was in charge of that office, Damian Williams, I believe was his name, he resigned. He resigned because he knew he was going to be replaced. I think one of the Trump lawyers, one of the rare ones that was relatively successful. I think Ted Blanche might be his name, has been named for that position.

Assistant U.S. attorneys don't need to be confirmed by the Senate.

I don't believe.

I haven't really looked into that.

But while the attorney general does, I believe that as long as an attorney general is approved, and one will be, whether it's Pam Bondi or not, I know not, but probably will be,

whoever Trump says they will appoint, and that's a political appointment. It's not,

the attorney general requires the advice and consent of the Senate, but not individual U.S.
