I was somebody who had quite a bit of promise as a young person.

Then comes the introduction to alcohol.

I had a very unhealthy relationship with this substance.

I became quite unwell. I was 50 pounds overweight, semi-depressed, tolerating life.

When I was walking up a simple flight of stairs to go to bed one night, I had tightness in my chest and I had to pause.

In that moment it kind of all became very crystal clear to me that I needed to change how I was living.

I realized there was one thing that I hadn't tried yet, which was going 100% plant

base.

Within a week to 10 days, I really felt fantastic.

It was bouncing off the walls. really felt fantastic.

It was bouncing off the walls and I felt like I could keep running and keep running.

I think the great teachable moments come in the failures.

and show you who you really are. They say that the media has
