The title of this episode is Glenn Beck stands up for Tim Ballard against the LDS church. It's a long title, but really you have to get all the main players in here. It's incredible what's happening.

Recording this at nine o'clock a.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2023, you will recall that just two days ago on Friday, I did another special broadcast about a statement that a church spokesman had made or spokesperson had made on behalf of Elder Ballard, and let's go to that right now because that is what has started the ball rolling.

Now, for a second, imagine that you are Tim Ballard, and this is being said about you. Tim Ballard, of course, being the individual who until recently before he stepped down as the president was the president of Operation Underground Railroad, rocketing to fame with a hit movie over the summer where the part of Tim Ballard is played by Jim Cavizel. All right.

So here now, as things are getting worse and worse for Tim Ballard, president Ballard of the quorum of the 12th, and by president Ballard, I mean the acting president of the quorum of the 12th, that's Russell M. Now that's Russell M. Nelson M. Russell Ballard always get that confused.

Here's a statement from this apparent anonymous spokesperson, president Ballard and Tim Ballard, who no relation, they want to add that to Tim Ballard and Tim Ballard, no relation.

Established a friendship a number of years ago, that friendship was built on a shared interest in looking after God's children, wherever they are, and with regard to their circumstance.

However, and that's a big however, that relationship is in the past. For many months, president Ballard has had no contact with the founder of Operation Underground Railroad.

The nature of that relationship was always in support of vulnerable children being abused traffic and otherwise neglected.

Once it became clear, Tim Ballard had betrayed their friendship through the unauthorized use of president Ballard's name for Tim Ballard's personal advantage and activity regarded as morally unacceptable.

That morally unacceptable phrase is pretty strong language coming from the president of the quorum of the 12 apostles about an individual who has rocketed to fame and has become somewhat of a household name amongst people in the country, amongst people around the world.

Certainly, amongst members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he has attained hero status in many quarters and he may have had hero status with president Ballard up until a few months ago.

Alright, let's see morally unacceptable, president Ballard withdrew his association.

And let me read that sentence again. Once it became clear, Tim Ballard had betrayed their friendship through the unauthorized use of president Ballard's name for Tim Ballard's personal advantage and activity regarded as morally unacceptable.

President Ballard withdrew his association. Yes, that's all one sentence. It's a very clumsy sentence mainly because it doesn't specifically say what it is that the morally unacceptable appellation applies to.

I still think it's supposed to apply to the allegation by president Ballard that Tim Ballard used president Ballard's name to make money and it wasn't authorized by president Ballard, but it's written so badly that it could apply just generally this morally unacceptable appellation.

Okay, going on with the statement, president Ballard never authorized his name or the name of the church to be used for Tim's personal or financial interests.

In addition, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints never endorsed supported or represented operation underground railroad Tim Ballard or any projects associated with them.

Boy, can you see the church running away from Tim Ballard as fast as they possibly can with this statement?

President Ballard loves children.

Oh my gosh, president Ballard loves children all over the world. It has been his mission in life's work to look after them, care for them and point them to their savior.

All right, so as far as responses go, think about being Tim Ballard. I mean, whatever you think of the guy, hero or something less, you know, he's a human being and he's a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints up until recently, he's been good friends with president Ballard.
