The Department of Health and Human Services is moving to reform the organ transplant industry in the United States.

And this follows a study that found some hospitals allowed organ procurement to begin despite patients showing signs of life.

Now, meanwhile, as the future of cashless payments looms over all of us,

members of Congress are pushing for a new bill

But look, health and human services, HHS, they're moving to reform something pretty crazy.

The organ transplant industry in the United States, because there's a terrifying new study that came out.

This follows a study that found some people who had their organs removed for donations

were not actually dead. And you might have seen videos of parents having their kids in the

hospital trying to protect them from having their bodies dragged off and having their organs

taken out. It turns out this is a real issue. HHS director Robert F. Kennedy Jr., he called the

prospect, quote unquote, horrifying, and he said the system needs to be fixed. They're going to be

moving on this. Now, the HHS website said this. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

under the leadership of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. today announced a major initiative to

begin reforming the organ transplant system following an investigation by its health resources

and services administration, that's the HRSA, that revealed disturbing practices, it says,

by a major organ procurement organization.

Essentially they're saying this isn't the entire industry, but there's one really shady organization
