It's my birthday. I love, love, love, love, love celebrating my birthday, but my birthday sucks. January 5th, it's after the holidays and everyone is basically broke, fat, tired, over it, getting back into their schedule with their jobs and their kids and everyone's done.

In our family, I'm also at the end of the birthday chain because

Terry is September, Katarina's October, the twins are November, Cocos December, and

then it's me and quite frankly after doing everyone's

birthdays and all of the holidays I'm kind of done to my girlfriends always do a

really fabulous lunch for me but we tend to do it at the end of January when everyone's back in the swing of things.

But I've always planned my own birthday parties which is a bummer but you know when the kids are little and you want them to

celebrate your birthday and realize that it's important to celebrate mommy you plan

it yourself now my kids well really just catarina katerina really enjoys

planning my birthday.

I don't know if she just likes planning the cake

because she goes to the you know all about the cake and

they do a cake tasting as if it's your wedding.

They sit down they give you a little chunks of cake, they give you

every little frosting. She loves it. And then she designs it. And you know, she's so my child.
