for those of you out there with an interest in the otherworldly and the unexplained, I got something fun

for you tonight.

Regular listeners of the show will be familiar with my friend and regular guest Chris Ritkowski,

a fellow known to many simply as the Canadian UFO guy.

For 40-ish years, Manitoba's most interesting man has been involved in nearly every aspect of the

UFO conversation that flows across Canada. He's contributed near infinite TV

appearances, hosted public lectures, wrote countless books and research type papers, but in my

humble opinion his greatest contribution to the UFO discourse is the Canadian UFO survey.

If you're unfamiliar since 1989, Chris and his collaborators

have been compiling data associated with Canadian UFO

sightings and releasing said data and their analysis of it in an annual report.

Each year the Canadian UFO survey looks at the number of cases,

when, where, and by whom they are witnessed, what colors are most common, what shape is most common,

and a whole bunch of other data points.

For people interested in the UFO topic, this report is appointment reading.

And as it turns out, the 2023 version was just released.
