Today we've got another reviewer reports edition of Gear 30, and so I am first going to be talking

with Luke Kappa, and then I'm going to be joined by Dylan Wood and Kara Williard to discuss

some of the gear that we have so far found to be particularly noteworthy early in

this winter season. And we are also rolling out a new segment on Gear 30, and we've been

kind of workshopping this title, but at the moment, I think this new segment is going to be called

crashes, falls, and close calls.

And Kara Williard is going to be sharing a story of a rather epic crash that she had a while back.

And you're going to get to hear me talk about a close call that I had just this last Sunday.

So we like this new segment and we're going to be asking you all to be sending in some

of your stories to be featured in this new Crash's Falls and Close Call segment.
