Well, as we're facing another round of winds, it could be frightening again.

The winds are supposed to gust to 50, 70 miles an hour in the coastal areas in the valleys, and from 60

to 100 miles an hour in the mountains and passes. In Ventura County, it may be particularly

hard hit with winds, but it's going to affect L.A. County as well, especially along the coast.

Now we have a new fire, John, by the way, in San Clemente.

This fire is only about an acre right now, but another fire.

So this is two that we know about so far today.

They're expecting these extreme winds to continue until at least 10 a.m. tomorrow morning.

And often these,

these warnings get extended beyond. And then there's another round of extreme winds coming later

in the week. And we, you know, we know that there's tens of thousands of crazy people running

around. In addition to all the non-crazy ways that fires could start. We still have these absurd power

companies, whether it's Southern California Edison or PG&E or DWP and all the badly

maintained wires and badly maintained transmission towers. But hey, what do they care? They get sued? The taxpayers will end up bailing them out anyway.

And the people running the energy companies walk away with millions of dollars of golden parachutes.

The reservoir in the Pacific Palisades is still not filled.

And the woman who runs the Department of Water and Power is still holds the job.
