today about what causes you and me to drift in a

So far, we've talked about how we drift when we stop counting and we start comparing, when we

stop gathering and we start isolating, when we stop resting and we start running, when we

stop praying and we start panicking, when we stop climbing and we start coasting.

Let me just give you a few more today.

And then we're going to download one of those songs we've been downloading into our hearts

that just might keep us from drifting as much.

I've also found that drift happens when we stop giving and we start grabbing.

When we're not generous with our money, when we're not generous with our stuff,

our time, when generosity does not

define our lifestyle and it becomes all about acquiring more, we drift. Drift happens also when we

stop serving and we start sitting. When we're living beyond ourselves, when we're using our

gifts and talents and we're serving other people, it feels like we're hitting on all cylinders and life is a blast.

But when we sit it out, drift happens.
